Audio-Video Conferencing

ISARM multimedia facility is meant to alleviate communication and co-operation among members of international groundwater projects and committees.

Face-to-face meetings of international project teams (and committees) are often difficult to organise, time-consuming and expensive. With use of multimedia tools a frequency of international meetings can be substantially enlarged without any substantial increase in costs (meetings in digital environment are seen as an extension rather than a substitution of face-to-face meetings).

ISARM uses Click to Meet © application developed by First Virtual Conference (FVC). The main advantage of Click to Meet with respect to other conferencing software is that of being server based; no conferencing software needs to be installed locally on your PC. Consequently, the software can be used from various computers, various places and by various users. All you need locally (at a conference attendee side) is a video camera (webcam) and optionally a headset (headphones and microphone).

During the conference you can see all attendees (conference/meeting participants) at the same time and talk with them. Besides, there is a space for presentations and common drawings (whiteboard). Eventually, on-time text chat could be used to confirm on the fly some of statements/decisions made during the conference.

If you would like to use Audio-Video Conferencing in your international groundwater project - please contact us. We will grant you the access to the facility and provide with instruction on how to set up and carry out a meeting in ISARM virtual environment.
